- Process payments and manage your account.
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.

AI and Voice Processing Providers
To provide our creative tools, we may send content you provide, such as manuscripts, story materials, prompts, instructions, audio, voice selections, generated scripts, and other user inputs, along with related processing data, to AI, speech, and infrastructure providers such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, Anthropic, and similar providers. We use these providers only as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot our Services and to deliver the features you request. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train Mythropic models. We configure the AI and voice provider services we use for production content to avoid using your content for model training or general model improvement.
For Google Gemini and similar AI providers, this processing may include analyzing, transforming, drafting, narrating, or preparing written and audio content. We may use temporary caches or similar processing features to avoid resending the same content during a processing job; these caches expire after a short period or are deleted where supported.
Google API Services & Limited Use
Our Services use Google API Services to let you sign in with your Google account and, where applicable, to process creative features through Google Gemini.
- Data Access & Use: For Google Sign-In, we access your Google name, email address, email verification status, profile image, and authentication data needed to complete sign-in solely to create and manage your account, authenticate you, and personalize your account experience. We do not use this Google user data for any other purpose.
- Data Storage: Google Sign-In data is stored securely and retained only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Data Sharing: We do not share Google user data with third-party vendors or developers except as required to provide the core functionality of our Services, protect the Services, or comply with applicable law.
Mythropic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your Content and Intellectual Property
We take your creative work seriously. Manuscripts and content you upload to AudioFlow remain your intellectual property. We process your content solely to provide the audiobook production services you request. We do not use your uploaded manuscripts or produced audiobooks to train AI models or for any purpose other than delivering your requested services, unless you explicitly consent otherwise.
How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
- With Your Consent: When you direct us to share your information or give us explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, protect the Services, and enforce our agreements.
Uploaded manuscripts, generated audio, and related project information remain available until you delete the applicable project or account. When a verified deletion request is processed, we delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer needed. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for tax or accounting obligations, payment disputes, chargebacks, security and fraud prevention, documented account restrictions, deletion-request records, or legal claims. We do not create an account restriction solely because you request deletion.
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups expire under our normal retention schedule. Information retained only in backups is kept beyond ordinary application use and is not restored except for disaster recovery. If backup data is restored, we take reasonable steps to reapply completed deletion requests.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your personal information.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us.
To exercise these rights, use our contact form or email privacy@mythropic.com. We may need to verify your identity or control of the account associated with the request. We generally respond within 30 days and will notify you if applicable law permits and requires additional time. For instructions on deleting a project or account, see our Data Deletion page.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. We implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your information receives adequate protection regardless of where it is processed.
